Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef*
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup braggs liquid aminos (soy sauce)
  • 1/2 cup 100% maple syrup
  • 4 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 cup brown rice, cooked
  • 5 cups broccoli, steamed
  • 5 cups chopped green cabbage, steamed (I use a bag of coleslaw mix)

  • green onions, sliced
  • sesame seeds
  • cashews, chopped

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and garlic until crumbly and no longer pink. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Braggs liquid aminos, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  3. Pour sauce over ground beef and simmer for 2 more minutes to meld the flavors.
  4. In a large pot, steam broccoli (about 7 minutes). Add in the cabbage for the last 1-2 minutes until fork tender.
  5. Serve meat mixture over hot rice. Top with green onions, sesame seeds, cashews, and steamed broccoli and cabbage.
