This is a family favorite that everyone is excited about! It’s a sweet, korean beef mixture that perfectly compliments the rice and steamed veggies.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef*
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup braggs liquid aminos (soy sauce)
- 1/2 cup 100% maple syrup
- 4 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 4 cup brown rice, cooked
- 5 cups broccoli, steamed
- 5 cups chopped green cabbage, steamed (I use a bag of coleslaw mix)

- green onions, sliced
- sesame seeds
- cashews, chopped

Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and garlic until crumbly and no longer pink. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Braggs liquid aminos, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- Pour sauce over ground beef and simmer for 2 more minutes to meld the flavors.
- In a large pot, steam broccoli (about 7 minutes). Add in the cabbage for the last 1-2 minutes until fork tender.
- Serve meat mixture over hot rice. Top with green onions, sesame seeds, cashews, and steamed broccoli and cabbage.
